Serco, the Council's recycling and refuse partner, is holding a two-day recruitment event in September to hire additional HGV drivers and loaders as food waste collections roll out across Charnwood later this year.
The event will take place on Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 September at Loughborough Town Hall.

People interested in the roles can apply online. Those who apply will be invited to the recruitment event and given an interview time.
Candidates unable to attend the September event are encouraged to apply anyway. Serco will offer a suitable alternative date for those who cannot make the two-day event.

Serco describes the work as active — involving early starts and early finishes, which gives employees more free time. The roles are part of a team environment focused on creating a cleaner, greener borough.
